TANK KOMS founder, Ms Tankiso Komane, is a qualified and highly experienced journalist who has worked for some of South Africa’s leading newspapers, including The Sowetan, The Citizen, The Times, and The New Age; in addition to having worked as a publicist and brand activation specialist for top local comms agencies for the past 15 years, as well as a copywriter for the SABC1 on-air promotions.

Tankiso has developed an in-depth understanding of the nature of the media business and how to use it for the purpose of exposure, all thanks to her varied work as a journalist and publicist. Her expertise in journalism across various media disciplines and hands-on experience in event activations, coupled with a good reputation, is what laid the foundation of TANK KOMS.
